“The world is about being relevant to the market, and disruptive solutions in the way to remain relevant,” said Jagdish Mitra, chief marketing officer, Tech Mahindra.
“Our customers are big companies who are constantly getting disrupted. So, we help them by bringing them solutions that they are able to leverage and compete in the marketplace and business,” he added.
Tech Mahindra identifies over 300-400 startups from across the world and zeroes in on 20 to 30 startups after a rigorous filtration process. It also works with venture capital firms in the process.
The solutions developed in collaboration with startups are generally deployed in sectors like manufacturing, financial services and healthcare, Mitra said.
“We don’t work with startups which are in the incubation level, rather focus on startups who have few clients and achieved a bit of a scale and we take them to our plethora of customers,” said Mitra.
