One video begins with Kumar rushing into the traffic at a busy junction, loudly crying and asking motorists to stop and listen to his complaint about the food. He then sits down on the road with his plate and stages a demonstration.

In another video aired by news organisations, Kumar can be seen breaking down and saying that all his complaints about the quality of food fell on deaf ears and that he is instead being threatened with dismissal.
"I told my senior, please eat 4-5 of these rotis. These are fit for dogs. Will your children eat this," he says sobbing bitterly.
He says matters would not have reached this far had his higher ups listened to his complaints, and this protest is because he wants Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to hear what he has to say.
" Every police personnel is allowed a batta for eating nutritional food. Is this that nutritional food?" he asks in another video.
Kumar was later whisked away by other personnel, and the Firozabad police tweeted that there were 15 instances in the past when he was punished for habitual indiscipline, absenteeism and negligence. A probe has been ordered, the tweet said.
