    Hyundai Motors India set up with Korean chief Y.S. Kim at the helm and a production plant near Chennai



    1998

    Santro launches in India. Hyundai���s marketing men rope in Shahrukh Khan, a first for any Indian auto player, who appears with Mr.Kim in the first ever commercial for the then unknown South Korean brand.
