    Bennett University to hold webinar on National Education Policy today

    The webinar scheduled to be held between 4 pm and 6 pm through video chatting application Zoom, will especially focus on the implementation of the policy in private universities of UP.

    LUCKNOW: Additional chief secretary, department of higher education in the government of Uttar Pradesh, Monika S Garg is to be the chief guest at a webinar discussing the impact of the New Education Policy on Teaching and Learning, organised by the Bennett University today.

    The webinar scheduled to be held between 4 pm and 6 pm through video chatting application Zoom, will especially focus on the implementation of the policy in private universities of UP.

    Roshan Lal Raina, vice chancellor at the JK Lakshmipat University, Jaipur who has also been a former dean at Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow and Shiban Kak, former VC at the Mahamaya Technical University as well as the Jaypee University of Information Technology, Waknaghat and Chaudhary Charan Singh University, will be the speakers.

    The webinar will be moderated by RK Shevgaonkar, VC, Bennett University.

    The NEP, 2020 that replaces the National Policy on Education framed in 1986 aims to reform schools and higher education in India. Speaking at the inaugural session of the Annual Governors’ Conference on Monday, PM Narendra Modi has called for a wide ranging discussion of the policy to enhance awareness about its provisions.
