Click & Collect: Ikea resumes online sales in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Swedish furniture giant Ikea on Monday announced resumption of online sales in Hyderabad following the government’s latest guidelines wherein customers can book products online and collect those from the store.

The company that has a retail store in Hyderabad and also sells products online in Mumbai, Hyderabad and Pune, had to shut down operations for more than 60 days due to the lockdown. It has yet to resume online sales in Mumbai and Pune.

In a statement, Ikea said it had launched a safe and contactless shopping experience titled ‘Click & Collect’ through which the customer can access and book products and collect those from the Hyderabad store’s car parking area. The store team will notify the customer by text or email when they could come over to the store and collect the products.
