The festive season brings in its wake binge-eating, late nights and physical exertion. And all these, collectively, go on to leave an imprint on the skin. As celebrations continue, here are some simple easy tips that will help nourish the skin and add to that festive glow.

    Keep sun damage at bay
Compared to other skin types, Indian skin is thicker as it is rich in melanin. This also makes it prone to tanning depending on everyday exposure to UV radiation. Opt for an oil-free and lightweight sunscreen with Sun Protection Factor or SPFs that offers broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection and doesn’t leave a white cast after application.

    Know your skin right
Most of us lead sedentary lifestyles and the pandemic has kept us at home. A combination of factors - diet, stress levels, sleep pattern - can lead to unwanted skin problems like breakouts, blemishes and uneven skin texture. Routine for the win
While nourishing your skin with a healthy and balanced diet is paramount, it is equally important to follow a holistic skincare regime on a daily basis to keep your skin supple. Start your morning with an antioxidant rich cleanser followed by a rich moisturiser made with organic botanical juices for transformative results.

    Say yes to organic
One can do their skin a big favour by simply tossing out harmful skincare products that are made with synthetic compounds. Go out for clean organic beauty products that are formulated with vitamin-rich ingredients and without parabens, propylene or butylene glycols, petroleum, sulfates, silicones, pesticides and. artificial dyes.

    Cleanse it out
Any skincare regimen devoid of deep cleansing can prove to be counterproductive. For the beauty products to work its magic on your skin, it is important to first remove the layers of dirt and dead skin with a gentle exfoliant that also replenishes the skin with a proprietary blend of fruit stem cells. The exfoliating micro-particles will instantly reduce the appearance of fine lines and reveal smoother looking skin, if used 2-3 times a week.

    Hydrate yourself
Drinking water is probably something we all take for granted but it goes a long way for having great skin. If it doesn’t suit your palate much then opt for fresh juices to maintain a sufficient liquid intake. Flushing out the toxins from the body is the key to get natural glow from inside and out.
