Dhoni, who announced his retirement from international cricket on August 15, returned to the pitch to play for his IPL team, Chennai Super Kings. But it's been a tough season for Dhoni and CSK, with the team failing to make the playoffs for the first-time ever. Though the team's performance left many upset, the franchise's CEO recently confirmed plans to have Dhoni leading the team again next year for IPL 14.
