    Britain’s Prince Charles is the latest celebrity to have tested positive for the novel coronavirus. The 71-year-old Prince was tested after he had been 'displaying mild symptoms.' The Prince is currently self isolating.
    A statement released by the Clarence House on Wednesday morning confirmed that the heir to the British throne had been diagnosed with the COVID-19 disease.

    “The Prince has been displaying mild symptoms but otherwise remains in good health, and has been working from home throughout the last few days as usual,” the official statement read.

    In accordance with government and medical norms, Charles has been self-isolating in Scotland with the Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla, who has tested negative for the coronavirus.

    The Prince had reportedly been occupied with a few social engagements in recent weeks. The royal statement also ruled out the possibility of ascertaining 'from whom the Prince caught the virus owing to the high number of engagements he carried out in his public role during recent weeks.'

    News agency AP, citing a royal source, reports that the Prince had last met The Queen on March 12 before the earliest time he would have had the infection. The Queen and Prince Philip both are now at Windsor Castle.
