    Deepika Padukone unveils wax statue at London's Madame Tussauds; husband Ranveer in awe of the figure

    Deepika Padukone added another feather to her cap as she unveiled her wax statue at the Madame Tussauds museum in London on Thursday.

    Accompanied by husband Ranveer Singh, parents Ujjala and Prakash Padukone and in-laws Anju and Jagjit Bhavnani, the actress was all smiles as she posed with the figure along with her family .

    The 33-year-old 'Padmaavat' star's statue sports a replica of the champagne-coloured Sabyasachi cape lehenga that she wore for the 2016 IIFA Awards.

    The 'Om Shanti Om' actress was overwhlelmed to see a figure of her own at a museum that she visited as a child. Her husband Ranveer, in awe of the figure, continued to encircle it and said "Can I take her home?"


    The actress has been making waves globally and is also on this month's cover of American Vogue magazine along with Scarlett Johansson and Bae Doona.

    Back home, Padukone is gearing up for her upcoming movie 'Chappak'. The Meghna Gulzar directorial is based on the life of acid-attack survivor Laxmi Aggarwal.
