Mukewar's first half of the day is dedicated to team meetings and the other half, post-lunch is dedicated for projects that he is personally involved in.
Pushkar Mukewar, Co-Founder and Co-CEO, Drip Capital feels it is difficult to follow a regular schedule while working from home.

He told ET Panache, "I am working with teams based out of India, and the US which can often mean that time and scheduling seems to blur. Hence, I have instituted dedicated work timings that allow me to focus on everything that needs to be done, as well as maintain a work-life balance. Continuing the last point, instead of working from the living room or somewhere else in the house, I prefer working from my reading room/desk to avoid any distractions. This also helps me get 'into the zone' for work, as I know that when I'm sitting at my desk, I'm expecting myself to work and not do anything else."

The company is always connected through Slack for formal conversations and WhatsApp for informal conversation. "For video conferences and town halls, I generally prefer using Zoom - it is easy and convenient for our requirements. Working from home has its own pros and cons and I feel there is no end to the debate. We had recently moved to our new office in Mumbai, and the team had really found its rhythm in the working environment there. I miss the office camaraderie, the opportunity to converse on a whim with my team members, seeing the united efforts of everyone to achieve our company goals, and of course, the chance to meet my team members face-to-face," Mukewar shared.

"I like to plan my day in advance, so that I have a clear idea of what tasks I need to tackle every day. This helps me ensure that I have a fixed number of goals to achieve every day, following which I can 'switch off' from work for some personal time with my family," he shared.

The first half of the day is dedicated to team meetings and business catchups for Mukewar. The other half, post-lunch is dedicated for projects that he is personally involved in.

"I ultimately try and wrap my work up by 7 pm on any day. Evenings are dedicated to my family. The best part about the lockdown is I get to spend ample time with my wife and the kids, which was otherwise tough. I also try to find some ‘me-time’ to catch up on my favourite web series or try and read a book," he ended.
