Nokia smart TV with 'Sound by JBL' launched in India at Rs 41,999

Nokia, on Thursday, made its entry into the crowded smart-TV market. The tech giant introduced its Smart TV, a Flipkart-exclusive, in India at Rs 41,999.
The Nokia-branded 55-inch smart TV boasts of 'Sound by JBL', which can be a beneficial move for the brand, as it is the first time that JBL is bringing its audio expertise to a TV in India.


Powered by 24 watt built-in speakers, "DTS TruSurround" and Dolby Audio to enhance the overall audio experience, the TV runs Android 9.0 Operating System (OS) giving users access to apps on the Android TV Play Store.

It sports a quad-core processor and 2.25GB RAM and 16GB ROM, and the visuals are bolstered with "MEMC" technology, which eliminates blurs and judders for a screen shift devoid of lags, thus, offering better picture definition.

The TV, comes with a built-in Chromecast and Google Assistant, and will be available on the e-commerce platform starting December 10.
