“While working from home, I mainly wear a cotton T-shirt and cotton pants. It works chiefly because of how comfortable it is. I prefer dark shades like grey or brown for trousers and lighter shades for T-shirts such as blue or red or something bright.”

Simple comfort
“For a strategy meeting with the team, I want to feel comfortable so I am in my usual attire of a cotton T-shirt and pants. For a pitch or networking call, I wear a company T-shirt because it helps build recall. I don’t do drinks with friends over video calls as I prefer having a drink in person rather than virtually.”

Grooming is key
“Before an impromptu video call, I always brush my hair and set my beard. This shows that I value my counterpart’s time and am ready to have a productive discussion.”

Brand speak
“Shopping isn’t an indulgence for me. My wife has to literally push me to even buy the necessary items. My favourite loungewear brand is Lululemon. There is no specific reason why I like it. Brands are always comparable.”
