Search giant Google is known to make changes to its logo to mark important occasions, commemorating important days, celebrating festivals and birth anniversaries of famous personalities. As the world continues to battle the menace of Covid-19 outbreak, the search giant, on Monday, honoured the frontline coronavirus helpers who have been fighting the dangerous virus to keep us safe.
The colourful and vibrant doodle shows doctors, teachers, nurses, drivers, delivery staff, farmers, sanitation workers, grocery workers, emergency service workers and others helping the world fight the crisis.

Sharing its doodle on Twitter, Google India urged all to stay at home in honour of all the front line workers who are helping us battle the pandemic.

"As Covid-19 continues to impact communities around the world, people are coming together to help one another now more than ever. We’re launching a Doodle series to recognise and honour many of those on the front lines," said Google on its doodle website.

The doodle features the double ‘o’ in its name as a funky caricature of all the frontline warriors with red hearts floating above them.

At the bottom of the message, Google also listed ways to help stop the spread of Covid-19. They included simple but compulsory steps like, “Wear a mask. Save lives. Wear a face cover. Wash your hands. Keep a safe distance.”
