NEW DELHI: Ever since the Twitter accounts of Amitabh Bachchan and Adnan Sami were hacked by a Turkish hacker group - Ayyildiz Tim Turkish Cyber Army, hilarious memes have flooded the micro-blogging website.

The hackers had replaced Big B and Sami's profile pictures with that of Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan. While the megastar's bio said - "Actor, well at least some are STILL saying so !! Love Pakistan", the singer's bio was changed to - "Ayyildiz Tim Love Pakistan" - with an emoji of Pakistani and Turkish flags.

Twitterati were quick to notice the hacked accounts of the 'Kabhi Nahi' music video stars. They began sharing witty memes and one-liners on the platform.

Bachchan's page was restored within half-an-hour after the Mumbai Police alerted the cyber unit.

With 37.4 million followers, Bachchan has been an active Twitter user, and shared over 64,000 tweets since he joined the platform in 2010. His Twitter account was reportedly hacked in 2015 as well.

Sami previously held a Pakistani passport, but received Indian citizenship in 2015.

The group had previously hacked Twitter accounts of actors Shahid Kapoor and Anupam Kher among others as well.
