    Mukesh and Nita Ambani visit Siddhivinayak temple, offer son Akash's wedding card

    Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani along with wife Nita and son Anant paid a visit to Mumbai's Siddhivinayak temple, on Monday, to offer the first invitation card for Akash and Shloka's wedding.

    The same day, the couple also met DMK leader MK Stalin at the his Chennai residence to invite him for the wedding.


    The elder son of Asia's richest man is all set to tie the knot with Shloka, the youngest child of diamantaire Russell Mehta, on March 9.

    The big day will be preceded by three days of pre-wedding festivities at the picturesque St. Moritz in Switzerland, starting from Feb 23.

    Akash proposed to childhood friend Shloka in March last year. The couple celebrated the new beginning surrounded by close family and friends in a private ceremony in Goa. This was followed by a star-studded engagement for the couple at the Ambanis' Mumbai residence Antilia in June.


    The Ambanis ended 2018 with the lavish wedding celebrations of Akash's twin, Isha, with Piramal scion Anand. Prior to her wedding too, parents Mukesh and Nita Ambani had visited temples across the country to offer the invite and seek blessings.
