Mumbai RPG House gets #WallOfGratitude, Harsh Goenka pays special tribute to corona warriors

NEW DELHI: Words will not be enough to thank the frontliners who have put their lives at risk so that we can stay safe amid the coronavirus pandemic.
On Monday, RPG Group Chairman Harsh Goenka found a special way to thank the corona warriors, and shared a glimpse of the #WallOfGratitude donning the RPG House on social media. He posted four pictures of murals created on the giant, exterior wall of the RPG House, located in Mumbai's Worli area.

Goenka said that the #WallOfGratitude was a way to show heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses, policemen, media persons, delivery guys, among others who were all involved in fighting the novel coronavirus pandemic in their own way.


The murals were created to thank and honour the covid warriors who are working round-the-clock for people's safety.

The artwork, painted by Sameer Kulavoor and curated by interior designer Elsie Nanji, spans over the 10000 sq ft-wall and stands tall over 120 feet in height.

It was created with some help from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, Mumbai Police and Asian Paints.

The 62-year-old business tycoon also shared a 1-minute video of Kulavoor working on a mural of a man folding his hands and greeting with a traditional namaste.


He thanked the frontliners for their courage and energy. "It’s immense to see the service that you have provided. We are safe, credit goes to all you frontline workers. Thank you so much!" he wrote.
