Fashion and wrestling don't always go together. The two recently met when fashion designer Narendra Kumar aka Nari met Indian-born Canadian WWE champion Jinder Mahal in New Delhi.

What surprised Kumar in that meeting was the wrestler's politeness.

"Jinder Mahal is a very tall, extremely well-built individual. He looks intimidating, so it was kind of surprising to see him so courteous and polite. Jinder's handshake was also not a very firm one — which I suspect was deliberate for fear of breaking my bones," Kumar said, with a laugh.

Nari designed a robe for Mahal and says that it took double the amount of fabric. "Jinder is 6.5 ft tall, so you can just imagine. It takes about three metres of cloth to make a sherwani for an average Joe and close to six metres for Jinder."
