Bollywood star Sushant Singh Rajput, whose tragic demise last year left the country in shock, would've turned 35 years old today. Tributes poured in for the 'Kai Po Che' actor on his birth anniversary as the film fraternity remembered him with heartfelt messages.

But the actor wasn't remembered only by wishes. Film-maker Abhishek Kapoor, who directed Rajput in his debut 'Kai Po Che' and later on in 'Kedarnath', along with wife Pragya decided to pay tribute to the actor by ticking off one of the things on his bucket-list. Rajput had posted his bucket list of 50 things on Instagram in 2019, and on number 11 was a dream to plant 1,000 trees.

In order to make this wish come true, the couple, who was close friends with Rajput, planned a plantation drive in his memory.

Talking about the initiative, Pragya told Bombay Times, “A wish should not be left unfulfilled, Sushant had many dreams that he wanted to achieve. We can’t fulfil them all, but planting 1,000 trees is something that we could do, hence, we felt it was the right way to celebrate his birth anniversary."
