Sushant Singh Rajput’s death has not only sent shockwaves across the nation, but has caused an upheaval of epic proportions in the film industry. With fans and industry insiders calling out Bollywood biggies for not encouraging outsiders, Salman Khan and brother Arbaaz Khan have finally responded to the allegations levelled against them.

On Saturday, Salman sent out a tweet, addressing his 41.1 million Twitter followers and fans, urging them to stand with Rajput’s fans. The megastar asked his fans to not go by the language and curses used but the ‘emotion behind it’.

Calling the loss of a loved one ‘extremely painful’, Khan asked his fans to stand with Rajput’s family in such trying times.

Arbaaz wrote that he was too young to understand the meaning of the proverb when he was a kid, “but looking at what’s happening all around us, the old proverb makes a whole lot of sense,” wrote the producer and actor. Khan, along with his family members - brother Arbaaz and Sohail and father Salim - has been facing the Internet's ire for ‘not being as supportive to outsiders’. Film-maker Abhinav Kashyap, too, levied serious accusations against Salman, co, accusing the Khan family of sabotaging his career and creative endeavours.

Apart from Salman, producer and director Karan Johar, production company YRF and some star kids have been facing the wrath of the netizens after Rajput’s tragic demise.
