Samsung launches Galaxy Watch Active2 4G, its first made-in-India smartwatch, at Rs 28,490

The month of June saw several exciting tech launches - from OnePlus launching affordable smart TVs to Apple announcing iOS 14 at WWDC. July, too, is all set to begin on a ‘techalicious’ note with Samsung announcing the launch of Galaxy Watch Active2 4G, its first made-in-India smartwatch.
Watch Active2 4G Aluminium case features a sport band in Cloud Silver, Aqua Black and Pink Gold variants. The smartwatch has a super AMOLED display which covers the screen from edge to edge, giving the users a rotating UI experience.

Each watch can be customised with standard straps and a range of watch faces from the app store. The Galaxy Watch Active2 4G comes with 39 workout trackers built-in with many of them focusing on indoor workouts.

Users can also access a comprehensive library of indoor goal-based, video-guided programmes available on the Samsung Health platform. The smartwatch also comes with sleep analysis and stress algorithms to keep your stress levels in check.

What’s more? The 4G smartwatch is powered by e-Sim connectivity allowing you stay connected for calls, messages and notifications freely from the watch itself without having to keep your phone around. Users can access Social Media apps with just the tap of a finger, even while they are away from their smartphone.

The smartwatch comes with a 340 mAh battery along with a 1.5GB RAM and 4GB internal memory. The Galaxy Watch Active2 4G is priced at Rs 28,490 and will be available starting July 11 across retail stores, Samsung Opera House, Samsung.com and leading online portals.
