Prime Minister Narendra Modi's swearing-in ceremony was a star-studded affair. From leading industrialists to B-town celebrities, the mega event witnessed 6,000 guests at the forecourt of Rashtrapai Bhawan. All eyes were on the newly-sworn PM, and guests simply couldn't wait to congratulate him. Amidst this, veteran singer Asha Bhosle was stranded in the rush, and newly-elected Union Minister Smriti Irani came to her rescue.
Irani, who has been elected to Parliament after defeating Rahul Gandhi from the Amethi constituency in Uttar Pradesh, offered a helping hand to the singer. The newly-elected MP also made sure that the singer reached home safely.
