Sonali Bendre's positivity-filled Instagram post hints at resumed cancer treatment

Actress Sonali Bendre, who was diagnosed with metastatic cancer in July last year, has documented her journey battling the illness, on social media.

The 'Sarfarosh' actress, who has been under treatment in New York, had come home to India in December. But going by her latest Instagram post, seems like the 44-year-old has returned to her treatment following a short break.

Taking to social media, Bendre posted a picture that shows her dressed in a hospital gown with an IV drip on her hand. "Another kind of outfit and another kind of accessory... just a small pit stop from the roller coaster we call life! Back home and back to #MyNewNormal #OneDayAtATime #SwitchOnTheSunshine," she captioned the picture.
