In the latest development in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) will question the late actor’s psychiatrist, Susan Walker.

According to a Times Now report, Walker had earlier revealed that Rajput was suffering from manic depression and bipolar disorder, and that his girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty was ‘his strongest support’. The psychiatrist’s deposition before the central intelligence agency will be crucial in the all-encompassing investigation.

The therapist arrived at the DRDO guest house on Thursday afternoon and is expected to record her statement shortly.

Meanwhile, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), which is investigating the alleged drug link in Rajput’s death probe, has nabbed another suspect. According to the news agency PTI, the man whose identity has not been revealed, is allegedly linked to Basit Parihar who has been arrested by the federal anti-narcotics agency in this case.

With this the NCB has arrested two people so far, the other being Zaid Vilatra.

Vilatra was produced before a local court by the agency on Thursday that sent him to its custody till September 9.

Bandra resident, Parihar, was arrested after Zaid’s interrogation. Parihar is learnt to have ‘links’ with the narcotics case registered against Rajput's live-in partner, Chakraborty, and others.

In another development, actress Kangana Ranaut, who has been vocal about Rajput’s death and has been alleging a ‘planned murder’ by the ‘movie mafia’, recently revealed that she has received threats from Shiv Sena leader, Sanjay Raut.

Ranaut alleged that Raut gave an ‘open threat’ and asked her ‘not to come back to Mumbai’. In her tweet, Ranaut compared Mumbai to ‘Pakistan occupied Kashmir’.

Meanwhile, the Shiv Sena leader has denied Ranaut’s allegations and asked the actress for proof.

Previously, Raut's statements attacking Rajput's family during the turf war played out between the Mumbai police and the Bihar police had also attracted widespread criticism.
