While Covid-19 pandemic will significantly change the way we experience weddings, the sheer feeling of getting hitched to someone you love is magical. On Thursday, Indian actor Rana Daggubati, ahead of his wedding on August 8 with Miheeka Bajaj, took to Instagram to share some pictures of the pre-wedding festivities.

Seen in the photo are Daggubati and Bajaj, rocking traditional Indian ethnic attire, both smiling ear to ear, at the Haldi ceremony. White Daggubati sported a white shirt and a matching lungi, Bajaj was seen rocking a bright yellow lehenga.

"And life moves forward in smiles. Thank you," the "Baahubali" star captioned the image with a heart emoticon. Bajaj, too, took to Instagram to share photographs from the Haldi ceremony. ‘With love @ranadaggubati,’ Bajaj captioned the image.

As soon as Daggubati shared the pictures on Instagram, the comments section of the post was flooded with congratulatory messages for the couple. ‘Mashallah! Stay blessed forever,’ wrote one user. ‘Congrats Rana! You guys make a wonderful pair! Looking adorable!’ wrote another.

Rumour has it that Daggubati and Bajaj will tie the knot on August 8 at Hyderabad's Ramanaidu Studios. Spilling the beans on the couple’s much-talked-about wedding, Daggubati’s father, in an interview with the Times of India, said "There will not be more than 30 people present at the wedding. We want to limit the guest list to just family and we haven't invited even some of our closest friends, within and outside the film industry. The reality is that COVID-19 cases continue to rise and we don't want our celebrations to risk anybody's health, so I want to set the right example. The ceremony will be small but beautiful."

For the uninitiated, Daggubati and Bajaj had got engaged in a private ceremony in Hyderabad back in May. Daggubati had shared pictures from the engagement on Instagram, captioning the image, ‘And it’s official!!’.
