Wedding bells! Noel Tata’s son Neville gets engaged to Manasi Kirloskar in Mumbai

A new alliance is being forged. And this one marks the coming together of two leading business families for a happy occasion. Last week, eminent businessmen Noel Tata’s son Neville and Vikram Kirloskar’s daughter Manasi got engaged in a private ceremony in Mumbai.
According to a source close to both the families, the senior Tata and Kirloskar’s friendship goes way back, and the joining of the young couple further cements their relationship.

Manasi and Neville’s engagement comes on the back of a brief courtship. The groom-to-be flew to the Kirloskars’ Bengaluru-based home to propose to Manasi, the source said.

Apparently, the young couple has decided to give the big celebrations a miss, and instead will exchange rings in the presence of immediate family at the Tata family apartment in Mumbai.


And while the big day is expected to take place towards the end of the year, it too is likely to follow the understated yet classy brief.

Noel Tata, chairman of Trent and MD of Tata International, is known to be media shy. His three children, Neville and daughters Leah and Maya, have followed in his footsteps.

Neville reportedly worked with the food vertical at the various Trent brands at one point.

Vikram Kirloskar, vicechairman, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, is a big name in corporate circles. Manasi is actively involved in her family business, and is ED, Kirloskar Systems Ltd. Many congratulations to the young couple.
