NEW DELHI: With over 51 million followers, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is winning Twitter today.
On Friday, the 69-year-old PM showed the world his humorous side with a hilarious response to American billionaire Ray Dalio. Modi, who has been driving the Swacch Bharat Mission, said that the influential global investor can now test the meditation skills 'like a Ninja' after being trolled for praising the Indian PM. He further mentioned that the comments made by Dalio 'make for a healthy discussion, in the spirit of being radically open minded'.

In a series of tweets, Dalio had admired PM Modi's leadership skills and his thought process on Thursday. Sharing a video of an interaction with Modi at the Future Investment Initiative conference in Saudi Arabia's Riyadh on October 29, the billionaire investor called him "one of the best, if not the best, leaders in the world".

Dalio, who is also the founder, co-chairman and co-chief investment officer of Bridgewater Associates, further clarified that he was mostly impressed with Modi for bringing the people of the country together - from people who are in abject poverty to rich business leaders.

The billionaire founder further admired Modi's mission to provide basics and cutting edge digital technologies for India’s growth. He also lauded the Modi government for building more than 100 million toilets that helped in reducing diseases potentially and saving approximately 300,000 lives. He has a good chance of creating revolutionarily better outcomes with the broad support of the population," he concluded.

During the 23 minute-long interview shared on YouTube, the hedge fund billionaire, who was influenced by The Beatles (band), asked the Prime Minister about his meditation practice, his thought process and how that pertained to looking at the world itself.
