Buzzing stocks: YES Bank, Vodafone Idea, DLF, ICICI Bank

NEW DELHI: YES Bank with over 5.25 crore shares changing hands was leading among the most traded stocks on NSE on Friday.

Shares of Vodafone Idea (number of shares traded: 2.17 crore) , Sintex Inds. (number of shares traded: 2.05 crore) , Reliance Comm (number of shares traded: 1.31 crore) , ICICI Bank (number of shares traded: 1.10 crore) , DLF (number of shares traded: 0.86 crore) , Dish TV India (number of shares traded: 0.63 crore) , Ibull HousingFin (number of shares traded: 0.59 crore) , Bank of Baroda (number of shares traded: 0.40 crore) and BHEL (number of shares traded: 0.40 crore) also featured among the most traded stocks on the NSE.

ICICI Bank (Rs 530.84 crore) was leading the pack of most active stocks in value terms.

It was followed by YES Bank (Rs 351.40 crore) , Stampede Cap (Rs 179.17 crore) , DLF (Rs 173.21 crore) , HDFC Bank (Rs 137.78 crore) , Indiabulls Housing Finance (Rs 136.38 crore) , IndusInd Bank (Rs 136.23 crore) , Colgate-Palmo (Rs 115.31 crore) , Raymond (Rs 110.88 crore) and IGL (Rs 104.45 crore).

The NSE Nifty index was trading 28.15 points down at 11,983.90, while the BSE Sensex was down 81.60 points at 40,572.14 around 09:32 am.

In the Nifty index, YES Bank (up 3.31 per cent) , ICICI Bank (up 1.97 per cent) , IndusInd Bank (up 1.67 per cent) and Mahindra & Mahindra (up 1.40 per cent) and Zee Entertainment Enterprises (up 1.01 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While UPL (down 2.68 per cent) , Indiabulls Housing Finance (down 2.03 per cent) , Bharti Infratel (down 2.00 per cent) , Sun Pharmaceutical Industries (down 1.36 per cent) and Bharti Airtel (down 1.17 per cent) were the top losers in the index.
