Stock market update: Realty shares mixed; Sobha down 2%

NEW DELHI: Realty shares were trading on a mixed note in Tuesday's morning session.

Shares of Prestige Estates Projects (up 2.71 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate (up 0.99 per cent), Oberoi Realty (up 0.82 per cent) and Sunteck Realty (up 0.50 per cent) were trading higher.

Sobha (down 1.90 per cent), DLF (down 1.00 per cent), Brigade Enterprises (down 0.81 per cent) and Phoenix Mills (down 0.59 per cent) were trading lower.

The Nifty Realty index was trading 0.08 per cent down at 251.85 around 10:19 am.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 52.85 points at 11,394 while the BSE Sensex was up 202.78 points at 38,417.25.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 38 were trading in the green, while 12 were in the red.

Shares of YES Bank, Vodafone Idea, Indiabulls Housing Finance, Tata Motors, RBL Bank, Bank of Baroda, SAIL, JSPL, Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation and ICICI Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
