Stock market update: Realty stocks mixed ahead of RBI's policy outcome

NEW DELHI: Realty shares were trading on a mixed note ahead of the RBI's policy outcome due today.

Shares of Indiabulls Real Estate (up 1.98 per cent), Brigade Enterprises (up 1.21 per cent), Godrej Properties (up 0.29 per cent) and Mahindra Lifespace Developers (up 0.09 per cent) were the top gainers in the index.

Sobha (down 1.98 per cent), Phoenix Mills (down 1.84 per cent), DLF (down 1.66 per cent) and Prestige Estates Projects (down 0.85 per cent) were trading lower.

The Nifty Realty index was trading 0.65 per cent down at 283.85 around 10:02 am.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 48.50 points at 11,973.15 while the BSE Sensex was down 98.48 points at 39,985.06.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 12 were trading in the green, while 38 were in the red.

Shares of DHFL, YES Bank, Vodafone Idea, GAIL, Bank of Baroda, SBI, Federal Bank, GMR Infra, PNB and IDBI Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
