Stock market update: Realty stocks rise ahead of RBI's policy outcome

NEW DELHI: Realty shares were trading higher ahead of the RBI's policy outcome due today.

Shares of Sobha (up 2.68 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects (up 2.59 per cent), Godrej Properties (up 0.92 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises (up 0.66 per cent) were trading with gains.

DLF (up 0.56 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers (up 0.47 per cent), Phoenix Mills (up 0.26 per cent) and Oberoi Realty (up 0.25 per cent) too were trading higher.

The Nifty Realty index was trading 0.74 per cent up at 264.40 around 09:55 am.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 5.15 points at 10,953.40 while the BSE Sensex was up 37.92 points at 37,014.77.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 27 were trading in the green, while 23 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Dish TV India, Indiabulls Housing Finance, Tata Motors, Ashok Leyland, SAIL, ZEEL, PNB and JSPL were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
