    YES Bank's non-executive director Ajai Kumar resigns

    The private sector lender had appointed Ajai Kumar as its non-executive director in January.

    NEW DELHI: YES Bank on Monday said Ajai Kumar, non-executive (non-independent) director of the bank has resigned with immediate effect.

    "We would like to inform that Ajai Kumar, non-executive (non-independent) director of the bank has tendered his resignation on June 9, 2019 with immediate effect due to personal reasons," a regulatory filing from the bank said.

    The private sector lender had appointed Ajai Kumar as its non-executive director in January who had led state-run Syndicate Bank in the past.

    Extending losses into the third consecutive session, shares of YES Bank closed 2.89 per cent down at Rs 135.90.

    In the last three sessions, the stock has come off 11 per cent.
