Softbank subsidiary Brightstar India appoints new CFO

Mobile services company Brightstar, a subsidiary of Japanese multinational conglomerate Softbank Group, today said that it has appointed Ankur Agrawal as its chief financial officer for India.
Agrawal has previously worked at Jindal Stainless, GFG Alliance India and Livguard Energy. He did engineering from IIT Kharagpur and holds an MBA from ISB Hyderabad.

Brightstar India owns the Beetel brand, and Beetel is now foraying into the mobile accessories market through Flix Accessories. Last month, Flix had appointed Puneet Gupta, as its business head for India.

Speaking about the appointment, Sanjeev Chhabra, managing director of Brightstar India, said, “We welcome him to Brightstar India family, and look forward to his many contributions as we expand and grow our business.
