Here's how to book cab before flight landing

Budget airline SpiceJet has introduced a new service that allows mid-air cab bookings for the passengers who will now be able to books cabs for transportation using the in-flight entertainment platform SpiceScreen.

The airline recently tweeted, "Tired of cab bookings always cancelling on you? We have a solution for that. Have your cab ready upon arrival with Mid-Air Cab bookings with #SpiceJet! Book on http://spicejet.com or download the app now."

The service will initially be available in the Delhi airport, and will soon be extended to other major cities like Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Goa and Ahmedabad in a phased manner.

To book a cab during the flight, the passenger can connect to SpiceScreen on their mobile and go to CAB section on the homepage. Fares can be checked on the booking page which are usually fixed per unit distance.

Once a cab is booked, the passenger gets an OTP message via SMS, WhatsApp and automated in-bound call confirmation on their mobile phone on arrival.

There is a 10% discount in fares for passengers booking via SpiceScreen. There is no cancellation fee if the passenger is unable to board the cab due to any reason.
