    Assam BJP to reach out to 50 lakh families in June

    State BJP president Ranjit Kumar Dass on Monday said that adhering to the norms of social distancing, two party workers will visit a household and in the month of June, the party plans to connect 50 lakh families in Assam.

    GUWAHATI: With lists of achievement of Narendra Modi government in New Delhi and BJP led government in Assam, BJP workers in Assam will fan out to connect to as many as 50 lakh family.
    State BJP president Ranjit Kumar Dass on Monday said that adhering to the norms of social distancing, two party workers will visit a household and in the month of June, the party plans to connect 50 lakh families in Assam.

    "These workers will present to the people with a list of achievements of the Narendra Modi led government and four year old BJP led government in Assam,” he said.

    BJP led government in Assam recently completed its four year’s tenure. Assam is going to assembly polls early next year.

    Dass said, “We will also reach out to people digitally and create an awareness campaign. Across the 25,000 booths two WhatsApp group will created, one for the youth wing and other for the those who likes the plans and programme of the party and accordingly we will send them materials listing our achievements and works.”

    The party plans to hold six digitally rallies in six different corners of Assam. “We will extensively use zoom and Facebook live to connect to workers. We are connecting to different Mandal committees through video conferencing. Our IT cell is connecting to MLAs and other workers.”

    When asked about the illegal coal mining, Dass said, “On the allegations we had constituted an internal committee which has submitted its report and we will do what is necessary.”

    Stating that party has no tolerance for corruption, he said, “People must write to Chief Minister if there is allegation pertaining to officials, CM’s vigilance will take necessary action. If it involves party, people can write to me I will get it inquire within 24 hours. People can also take to legal recourse and if necessary file FIR and I will garland such person who brings corruption to public notice.”
