At an interaction with doctors today, Kejriwal thanked all healthcare workers for their efforts to curb the spread of coronavirus. These are unprecedented times,
the chief minister said.
"Your contribution is no less than a soldier's...if any healthcare personnal, including government or private doctor, nurse and sanitation workers, die while serving coronavirus patients, the government will give Rs one crore for their families," he said.

Earlier, the chief minister said 1,548 people have been evacuated from Nizamudddin markaz, of which 441 were hospitalised after they showed symptoms. He said 1,107 people, who attended religious congregation in Nizamudddin West, have been quarantined.
