    Karnataka relaxes rules, makes 2-week home quarantine for visitors mandatory

    The changes in Karnataka's policy is in line with its approach to fresh covid-19 positive cases.

    Karnataka waives institutional quarantine for state returnees
    Bengaluru: Karnataka has changed its quarantine norms for visitors from other states. Those coming into Karnataka, including from Maharashtra will now undergo two weeks of home quarantine.

    Earlier, those from Maharashtra were required to spend the first week in institutional quarantine and the second week at home.

    The changes in Karnataka's policy is in line with its approach to fresh covid-19 positive cases. Those tested positive, young and asymptomatic can now receive medication under home-quarantine with remote monitoring by the healthcare authorities.
