    Key provisions
    - Hiring and firing laws eased
    - States empowered to make changes on threshold
    - Legal backing for fixed-term employment

    Implications
    - Easier to hire and fire; will encourage employment
    - Fixed term employment will create more jobs

    CODE ON SOCIAL SECURITY
    Key provisions
    - Subsumes nine laws related to social security
    - Proposes social security for gig & platform workers
    - National Social Security Board will be set up

    Implications
    - 40 crore unorganised workers will benefit
    - Open up EPFO and ESIC for individuals

    CODE ON OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY, HEALTH AND WORKING CONDITIONS
    Key provisions
    - Subsumes 13 labour laws
    - Uniform provisions for women, fixed-term and contract workers

    Implications
    - Will ensure uniform health and safety conditions for all
