The Police claims to have listed 747 witnesses and of them 51 have recorded their statements under Section 164 of Criminal Procedure code (Crpc).

The Court was told that one of the Whatsapp chats show that on February 24, top conspirators were directly in touch with the men on the ground planning violence.

Each Whatsapp group had its own role, the police have alleged. Elaborating, the Police have claimed that while conspirators were planning violence, the footsoldiers were executing them at the behest of conspirators and instigators.
