Salman Khan's sea-facing flat in Worli sold for Rs 6 crore

MUMBAI: Actor Salman Khan reportedly sold a 1,650 sq ft apartment in Sterling Seaface at Worli for over Rs 6 crore. Located on the ninth floor overlooking the Arabian Sea, the three-bedroom apartment was sold along with two car park lots. The identity of the buyer is not known.
Khan is looking for buyers to sell a similar sixth floor apartment in the same building. The 14-storey Sterling Seaface was built by Shapooji Pallonji ten years ago and has a swimming pool and gym.

Scriptwriter Salim Khan confirmed they have almost concluded the deal with a buyer. “I will not like to reveal the buyer’s identity. There is nothing surprising in the sale.

I had purchased these flats on Salman’s behalf, but he does not want to leave Bandra. So, I have to sell these flats and would have to invest in an apartment in Bandra,” said Khan. He refused to disclose the apartment’s worth.

The senior Khan is believed to have invested on behalf of Salman in an old building at Bandra’s Carter Road. He plans to redevelop it with a builder. He, however, denied these reports. “I keep buying homes for all my children ,” said Salim Khan.

Realtors are investing in developing activities at Worli-Lower Parel belt in central Mumbai, a former hub of textile mills, said property brokers. Lodha Developers have launched world’s tallest tower, World One, in Shrinivas Mill.
