    Shopmatic merges with retail management firm Octopus

    BENGALURU: E-commerce solutions provider Shopmatic has merged with retail management platform Octopus in a bid to offer their customers across Asia Pacific, Middle East, and the United States a combined offline and online digital ecosystem.

    The combined entity will acquire 5,00,000 customers, and expects to hit $10 million in revenues by 2019, the companies said. “Our merger with Octopus will enhance the offline-online synergy. Their strength and experience in cutting-edge Pointof-Sales suite of solutions will be of immense value to merchants across the Apac region,” said Anurag Avula, co-founder, Shopmatic.
