    Delhi-Bhopal Vande Bharat Express: Timings, ticket price, journey time and stoppages

    Delhi-Bhopal Vande Bharat Express will reduce average time between Delhi and Bhopal to 7 hours and 30 minutes from 11 hours. The train will run six days a week, except Saturday. It will halt at Agra Cantt, Gwalior and Jhansi stations.

    Delhi-Bhopal Vande Bharat Express train will run six days a week
    Prime Minister Narendra Modi today flaged off Delhi-Bhopal Vande Bharat Express train. The new train introduced between Rani Kamalapati railway station in Bhopal and New Delhi's Hazrat Nizamuddin station from today is the eleventh Vande Bharat train in the country. The Vande Bharat Express train is capable of reaching a peak speed of 160 km/hour.

    The Delhi-Bhopal Vande Bharat Express will reduce average time between Delhi and Bhopal to 7 hours and 30 minutes from 11 hours. The train will run six days a week, except Saturday. It will halt at Agra Cantt, Gwalior and Jhansi stations.

    Train number 20171 Rani Kamalapati (Bhopal) - Hazrat Nizamuddin Vande Bharat Express will depart Bhopal at 5:40 am and reach Delhi at 1:10 pm. Train number 20172 Hazrat Nizamuddin - Rani Kamalapati (Habibganj) Vande Bharat Express will leave Delhi at 2:40 pm and reach Bhopal at 10:10 pm.

    A search on IRCTC website showed AC Chair car (CC) ticket from Delhi to Bhopal costs around Rs 1,700 per person. The Exec. Chair Car (EC) fare is around Rs 3,150. Food choice is optional in this train. If you opted for no food option then catering charge will not be added in fare.

    "The indigenously designed train set of Vande Bharat Express is equipped with state-of-the-art passenger amenities. It will provide faster, comfortable and convenient travel experience to the rail users, boost tourism and promote economic development in the region," the Prime Minister's Office had earlier said in a statement.

    The train comes with automatic doors with sliding footsteps. The other features of the train include special air conditioning ducts for uniform air distribution, bio-vaccum toilet with touch-free features, 180-degree rotational seats, CCTV in coaches and facility to talk with drivers and guards, passenger information system in each coach.

    The train also comes equipped with KAVACH or train collision avoidance system and modern fire control system.
