    Anand Mahindra excited about Deepika-Prabhas starrer ‘Project K', says it will beat Hollywood

    A few days ago, noted south Indian filmmaker Nag Ashwin sought the assistance of business tycoon Anand Mahindra for his ambitious sci-fi film ‘Project K’ starring Deepika Padukone, Prabhas, and Amitabh Bachchan. Now, the Mahindra boss in a tweet has revealed his excitement for the film-maker’s upcoming project.

    The 66-year-old businessman in a tweet said that the filmmaker’s vision has got him excited and that he was eagerly looking forward to witnessing the sci-fi film. Mahindra said that the film-maker will surpass Hollywood with his creation.

    “Well @nagashwin7 I have to admit you have got me as excited now about this blockbuster sci-fi film you’re creating. I have a hunch you’re going to beat Hollywood hollow…,” tweeted Mahindra.
    Mahindra said the above in response to a tweet by Ashwin. The popular director from the Telugu film industry had tweeted his appreciation of Anand Mahindra Research Valley. Ashwin shared pictures of him at the institute and expressed his gratitude to the Mahindra boss for his assistance. The young director ended his tweet saying that the promising collaboration is going to be exciting.

    “What a beautiful campus, where nature meets cutting edge tech...a fruitful start to our journey with @Velu_Mahindra and team..thank you so much @anandmahindra sir. This promises to be v exciting #mahindraresearchvalley #projectk,” tweeted the director.
    Not long ago, the director of the Deepika-Prabhas starrer had reached out to Anand Mahindra on Twitter. In a series of tweets, the director sought Mahindra’s assistance in creating the world for the science fiction movie.
    The director wrote that the film is being built around a futuristic world that is much more advanced than present technology. The film-maker also said that if the film succeeded then it will be a matter of pride for the country.

    Nag Ashwin shot to national fame after his movie 'Mahanati' starring Keerthy Suresh went on to become a blockbuster. The film chronicling the life of yesteryear actress Savitri received both critical acclaim and commercial success.
