    Gujarat Assembly Elections Phase 2: Date, time and list of constituencies going to polls

    Synopsis

    As per the Election Commission rule, the exit poll will be aired on TV channels after the completion of polling in the state on December 5. The votes will be counted and the results will be declared on December 8.

    The second phase of the Gujarat Assembly elections is scheduled to be held on December 5, voting for 93 of 182 assembly seats will take place. Polling in the first phase has covered 89 seats and overall voter turnout was recorded at 63.14 per cent.
    The BJP is in power in Gujarat for the past 27 years and it is looking to retain power in the western state for another 5 years.

    Polling will start from 8 am and will continue till 5 pm. To win the polls and form a government in Gujarat political parties or alliance need to secure a minimum of 92 seats.

    Here are the 92 constituencies - spread across the 14 districts of Ahmedabad, Arvalli, Patan and Gandhinagar - that go to polls on December 5:
