    Actor Bryan Cranston, famous for his lead role in the hit show Breaking Bad, has said in an interview that he plans to retire by 2026. Bryan Cranston won the Golden Globe Award and many Emmy Awards for his groundbreaking role in Breaking Bad. He will also feature in Wes Anderson’s Asteroid City this June.

    Why is Bryan Cranston retiring?


    The 67-year-old actor revealed to British GQ Magazine that he wants to travel and spend time with family, and give his wife time.

    "It’s not going to be like, ‘Oh, I’ll read and see what I’m going to do.’ No, it’s a pause. It’s a stop. I won’t be thinking about [work]. I’m not going to be taking phone calls," Cranston said in the interview.

    Cranston wants to be in France with his wife, live in a small village and pursue gardening. He said that for the last 24 years, his wife Robin has had to "adjust her life based on mine. She has tremendous benefits from it, but we’re uneven. I want to level that out. She deserves it."

    Cranston will also be seen in a spy thriller called Argyle, with co-actors Henry Cavill, Samuel L Jackson, and Dua Lipa.
