The Brazilian forward is not too happy with the words of criticism from the PSG President Nasser Al Khelaifi it is being said. The club president was rather dismal and sounded unsure when asked about Neymar continuing. Khelaifi felt that players were supposed to give their 100% when on the field. However, that was not what happened in the last season. His performance record shows 100 goals in 144 outings, representing the beleaguered club. Khelaifi feels that Neymar failed to rouse inspiration for himself and the team after his much-talked-about transfer from Barcelona.

The French club signed him up for Euros 222 million in 2017 and unfortunately, Neymar couldn’t contribute to the team's championship ambitions. The goal rate does fall far short of the expectations of the fans and the club and Khelaifi didn’t want to confirm whether Neymar remains or goes. He was of the opinion that Neymar could have certainly played better by avoiding injuries and creating the fouls and suspensions during matches to offset his game capabilities. Neymar is known to be one of the most effective forwards in the world today, however his fees are what is going to be the challenge in getting himself a club.
What fans of Neymar contemplate is whether he would be getting an offer from Manchester United, Newcastle, or Chelsea? The transfer window still has time and we can expect more feedback on this issue in the near future. In the meantime, the Parisian club plans also to replace their head coach Mauricio Pochettino. Lionel Messi has also been rather lackluster in his performance for the Club which he joined after Neymar in 2021. Both erstwhile Barcelona strikers have been booed by PSG fans during their sluggish performance against Bordeaux
