Twitter test its 'Edit Button', see who can use this new featureAgencies
Twitter has a new 'Edit Tweet' for its users and the microblogging company showed how the application would work. The work had started a few weeks before, and Twitter had informed its users that they were working on an edit button for tweets for users.

Only Twitter Blue handle users would get access to the edit function on tweets.
The edit button has a pencil drawn to denote the edit function and has a 'last edited' with a time flag mentioned. Whatever edits are being made will be done in a transparent manner.

Twitter clearly stated that this was a test and would let the users know how the edit button functioned on use.

The feature has not yet been opened to all users, and the Twitter blue users would be getting priority access initially. The cost is $4.99 that Twitter Blue users would have to pay to edit a post. This is hopefully the initial cost, and whether changes would be possible would be informed later.

Twitter had informed users that they would begin the edit button usage through employees and then expand it to Twitter Blue users. This function is available for users in the USA, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

Tweets can be edited within 30 minutes of their original message 'a few times.' The purpose is solely to correct the tweet and keep a record of what was said initially.
