Tekashi 6ix9ine, an American rapper whose real name is Daniel Hernandez and who testified against his own gang to help convict two high-ranking members, was physically attacked by multiple individuals while in a sauna at a gym in Florida. The assault resulted in his hospitalization, with Hernandez suffering facial injuries and bruises, according to his attorney, Lance Lazzaro.

Local authorities in South Florida were informed of the incident and transported Hernandez to a nearby hospital in an ambulance. While his injuries were serious, they were not life-threatening, officials said. Lazzaro added that 6ix9ine attempted to fight off his attackers but was overpowered by three or four men inside and outside the LA Fitness gym sauna. The assailants fled the scene when gym employees intervened after hearing the commotion.

    All about Tekashi 6ix9ine

6ix9ine is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. He was born on May 8, 1996, in New York City. 6ix9ine rose to fame in 2017 with his debut single "Gummo" which gained popularity on SoundCloud and later peaked at number 12 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. He is known for his distinctive appearance, including rainbow-colored hair and numerous facial tattoos. 6ix9ine has also been involved in a number of controversies throughout his career, including legal issues related to his involvement with criminal activities and his testimony against former members of his gang, the Nine Trey Gangsters.

Tekashi 6ix9ine's career as a rapper began in 2014, but he didn't gain widespread recognition until 2017 when he released his debut single, "Gummo." Known for his vibrant appearance and aggressive style of rapping, 6ix9ine quickly established himself as a polarizing figure in the hip-hop industry. He went on to release several successful tracks, including "FEFE" featuring Nicki Minaj, which peaked at number three on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.

In the past, Tekashi 6ix9ine was embroiled in a racketeering case, in which he was alleged to have utilized a violent gang as his personal enforcers. This case carried the potential of several decades behind bars. However, his cooperation in testifying against the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods resulted in a shorter sentence of approximately two years. This action, unfortunately, led to him being labeled as a "snitch."

In 2019, Hernandez was apprehended and convicted of nine charges related to racketeering, drug trafficking, and firearms offenses due to his connections with the Nine Trey Bloods gang. He was handed a two-year sentence and served time in federal prison until April 2020. As a result of his cooperation with federal authorities to implicate his associates, Hernandez received a reduced prison sentence. The rapper was granted early release due to COVID-19 related concerns, and the presiding judge commended him as a "model prisoner."

On Friday, Hernandez was reportedly expelled from a Miami baseball stadium for causing a disturbance while intoxicated, as per multiple media outlets.
