We are satisfied that everyone in the country could get enough food grains during the pandemic,” food minister Piyush Goyal said while addressing on the occasion of 57th foundation of Food Corporation of India (FCI).
He said that FCI distributes 47.5 million tonnes of food grains every year to 800 million poor people at subsidised rates under national food security act (NFSA).
