    Quess Corp separates Chairman, MD roles, appoints new CFO

    Suraj Moraje has been elevated as Group CEO and MD, Ajit Isaac continues to be executive chairman and N. Ravi Vishwanath has been appointed CFO.

    Bengaluru: Quess Corp Ltd. has separated its chairman and managing director roles, and appointed a new chief financial officer as well.

    Suraj Moraje, who is currently the group chief executive officer and executive director, will be elevated to Group CEO and MD of India’s largest staffing firm from April 1. Ajit Isaac, executive chairman and managing director, will continue as the executive chairman of the company.

    N. Ravi Vishwanath has been appointed as the CFO, replacing Subramanian Ramakrishnan who is stepping away to pursue an entrepreneurial venture. Vishwanath, whose appointment comes into effect in the new fiscal, was previously CFO of Teamlease and finance director at Sun Microsystems.

    “We are grateful to Ramki for his contributions to Quess over the last two years, including strengthening our balance sheet, improving controls, and driving our investor relations practices. We look forward to supporting his entrepreneurial ambitions, as he continues to be an advisor to Quess over the coming year,” Moraje was quoted saying in a statement.

    On Monday, Quess Corp shares fell 0.02% to Rs 751.25 apiece on BSE even as the benchmark Sensex ended the day 1.53% higher at 49,849.84 points.
