    Won’t pursue legal options against ban: TikTok

    NEW DELHI: In a statement on Thursday, ByteDance owned TikTok said it is not going to legally challenge the government’s ban of the app. TikTok and 58 other apps were banned by the Indian government on Monday.

    “There have been statements in the press concerning the possibility that TikTok might pursue legal action regarding the directive by the Government of India. We have no plans to pursue such action,” a TikTok spokesperson said in a statement.
